Grief Support

Let us walk with you — or someone you love — through a circle of comfort, courage, and remembrance.

Grief is a journey — unique for everyone. At Beads of Courage and the Center for Arts in Nursing, we honor the many ways people cope with loss.

If you have any questions or if there is a way we can support you, please email info@beadsofcourage.org.

August 30 is National Grief Awareness Day

A Note From Ashley, Our Program Director:

This week, as we recognize Grief Awareness, I especially want to acknowledge the families in our community who are carrying grief and remembering someone they love.

Grief is deeply personal, and there is no timeline or single way to move through it. Sometimes we need to talk. Sometimes we need to remember. Sometimes we need to create, connect, or simply give ourselves permission to pause.

Our Grief Support area offers gentle resources that you can visit when and if they feel right for you. They are here not to tell you how to grieve, but to offer another place for comfort, reflection, and remembrance.

As this family resource space continues to grow, we look forward to sharing more opportunities to connect — including upcoming virtual gatherings, special events, supportive resources, and moments created especially for our Beads of Courage families.

Wherever you are in your family’s journey today, please know that your story matters, your experiences matter, and you are an important part of our Beads of Courage community.

We’re honored to be here alongside you.

With care and courage,
Ashley Farish, BS, CCLS
