Carry a Bead
Take Beads of Courage on your journey! Whether you’re hiking, traveling, or attending a special event, carry a bead with you. Upon returning the bead, it’s given to a child or teen in the hospital, providing emotional support when they need it most. Your bead becomes a symbol of strength, hope, and connection.
Make Polymer Clay Beads
Get creative and help create our signature beads! Gather your group to design and craft unique polymer clay beads. These handmade beads are added to our collections, bringing joy and comfort to children receiving Beads of Courage during their treatment journey. This hands-on project is perfect for service-learning activities.
Decorate Art Cards
Brighten a child’s day with art! Decorate inspiring, colorful cards that accompany each bead, carrying messages of encouragement and love. Your artwork and words of support will bring smiles and strength to the kids we support.
Make Friendship Bracelets
Friendship bracelets have become symbols of care, unity, and joy—connecting people in simple yet powerful ways. For a child facing a serious illness, receiving a handmade bracelet is more than just a gift; it’s a message of love, strength, and connection. With red glass beads representing caring hearts, a colorful mix symbolizing lifelong friendships, and our exclusive Beads of Courage Heart-Hands bead, these bracelets embody kindness and courage.
Our Open Studio events are family-friendly and “FREE” to attend! Come cheer on the artists that will be giving of their time and talent making one-of-a-kind beads for Beads of Courage children and teens.
