Forever Home

Welcome BEAD FAMILY to our new Forever Home!

Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we have officially moved into our new Forever Home!

Beads of Courage
3301 N. 1st Avenue
Tucson, AZ 85719

Please remember to mail any carried beads, art cards, friendship bracelets, or other donations intended to support children and teens through Beads of Courage to our new Forever Home address.

For the past 21 years, Beads of Courage has helped hundreds of thousands of children and youth experience hope and healing while undergoing treatment for cancer, congenital heart defects, serious chronic illnesses such as cystic fibrosis and sickle cell anemia, burns and traumatic injuries, as well as families with a baby in the NICU. Every bead we give to a child enrolled in the flagship Beads of Courage program is spirit-lifting, which can be lifesaving in the moment. Thank you to all who contributed to our down payment on our Forever Home!

We have moved to a larger building where we house all of our operations under one roof improving our efficiency and productivity. We have a beautiful, large space for volunteers to help us package and mail more than 14 million beads annually. We can hold large fundraising events and host classes to teach beadmaking skills to children and adults. We proudly welcome potential donors to explore our mission in person and see how their support is put to use daily helping children face the biggest and scariest challenges any of us will ever face.

Thank you to all who are our  “1 in 100” Hero of Hope donors who gave $1,500 or more.  We honored all our Heroes of Hope donors on our Aspire sculpture at our Grand Opening.

Additional support helps with mortgage and utility payments, storage solutions for beads, and minor property improvements. Thank you for making our Forever Home a home where our heart for helping has room to grow and thrive.

First Photos From Our Forever Home

We are incredibly grateful to welcome Beth, our CEO, who traveled all the way from Pittsburgh, PA! It was such a joyful moment to hand her the keys to the Beads of Courage Forever Home. Together, we celebrated with a toast, placed a Forever Home Heart to hold the love of this space, brought flowers as a symbol of remembrance, and joined our dear friend Rebecca in a healing ceremony to mark this important transition for our mission.

Gribbon, our Founder and Chief Mission Officer, was joined by her brothers, Tom and Mike, as we began preparations to clean and ready the Forever Home. Every bead in this space will tell a story of courage, honor, and hope. Here we go—onto this exciting new chapter!
