Inaugural fundraising event provides emotional support for hospitalized children

PITTSBURGH (Oct. 30, 2025) – Beads of Courage is hosting its inaugural Cocktails for Courage event on Wednesday, Nov. 5 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Mansions on Fifth, in Pittsburgh, PA.
This Signature Beads of Courage ® Cocktails for Courage event is being held to create awareness and raise funds for Beads of Courage, a 501 (c) (3) providing arts-in-medicine programs for children coping with serious illness, their families and the clinicians who care for them.
Those who have purchased tickets for this sold-out event will enjoy:

Beads of Courage and its evidence-based, resilience-strengthening, arts-in-medicine program, has transformed the bedside experience within 300 member hospitals worldwide, including 12 pediatric hospitals and centers throughout PA.
Beads of Courage, provides a compassionate, creatively colorful means to honor and document the courage of hospitalized children and teens as they undergo medical treatment.
