In a heartwarming celebration of courage, hope, and joy, Tucson Subaru’s dedicated team recently welcomed Beads of Courage on-site to make beads with their staff. This initiative was not only a creative endeavor but a compassionate gesture in support of Beads of Courage, a non-profit organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for children and teens dealing with serious illness, their families, and the clinicians caring for them through Arts-in-Medicine Programs.

Beads of Courage, Inc. shared our belief that art, in the form of beads, can serve as powerful symbols for human experiences that deserve expression. These beads become more than ornaments, they are tangible representations of courage, alleviation of suffering, resilience, and the affirmation of human caring.

Tucson Subaru covered all costs associated with the bead making event, ensuring that every dollar spent went directly into the creation of over 203 custom beads. These special beads are essential elements in the Beads of Courage flagship program as they are given to children and teens when they are discharged from the hospital. During this bead making event, caring teammates not only surpassed the initial goal of making 100 beads but also made a meaningful contribution of $1,000 to Beads of Courage, Inc.

The impact of Tucson Subaru’s actions is significant. In addition to the financial support and handmade beads that will spread courage, hope, and joy to Beads of Courage members, the experience ensured a deep connection to the cause.
